The Path...

What is the Cedar Lined Path?

I'm glad you asked.

The cedar is a tree in and of itself carries significance in many cultures around the word. Revered as a sturdy building material in ancient times, it was used to build the finest temples and boats in the most powerful kingdoms throughout the Mediterranean, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. Long held as a dear as a symbol of strength and wisdom, the cedar tree grows as tall as a giant, and it's roots run equal to it's height, anchoring itself deep into the soil. The "Cedar Forest" mythologically is the realm of the gods. To the Japanese, forests themselves are embraced as a place to "unplug", commune with nature, cleanse your mind, and renew yourself by taking a "forest bath". The path is the journey through all of this, learning, seeking, and growing with every step.

This blog seeks to be these things. A journey of discovering strength, seeking wisdom, and instilling peace; a place where each step brings us closer to to learning more about ourselves, our world, and truth.

I am not a scholar. I'm just a person with a busy mind and a love of learning. A person who spends more time thinking internally, than speaking outwardly, and who strives to find a greater truth and profound wisdom each and every day.

I invite you to walk on The Cedar Path with me.
