The Path...

What is the Cedar Lined Path?  I'm glad you asked. The cedar is a tree in and of itself carries significance in many cultures around the word. Revered as a sturdy building material in ancient times, it was used to build the finest temples and boats in the most powerful kingdoms throughout the Mediterranean, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. Long held as a dear as a symbol of strength and wisdom, the cedar tree grows as tall as a giant, and it's roots run equal to it's height, anchoring itself deep into the soil. The "Cedar Forest" mythologically is the realm of the gods. To the Japanese, forests themselves are embraced as a place to "unplug", commune with nature, cleanse your mind, and renew yourself by taking a "forest bath".
